SUMMARY

The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for developing/administering and reporting on the company s quality programs/systems in accordance with customer and company requirements



 

RESPONSIBILITILES

  • Establish procedures for maintaining the company s high standard of quality.



  • Determine and enforce through functional groups of the facility sites quality requirements in accordance with real company means, based on current government and customer standards



  • Organize and promote companywide quality improvement efforts



  • Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality



  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system, reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system



  • Establish and support Nadcap at the facilities that have to meet customers expectations



  • Act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality system



  • Promote the advancement of quality by directing webcasts on selected topics with all of the other facilities



  • Provide multi-media training to employees of all facilities



  • Conduct audits as required as a member of the auditor team



  • Write and revise Nadcap quality manual



  • Train each plant site on Nadcap requirements



  • Assist with the quality manager transition as consultant and resource



  • Train Nedox and Tufram operators in Nadcap processing methods



  • Prepare meeting presentations as requested



  • Perform other duties as assigned





QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of the principles, theories and practices of quality management



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills



  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving in metal finishing area required



  • Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)



  • Sufficient knowledge of quality measurement and report writing



  • Ability to access and interpret data to solve quality questions and determine root cause and corrective actions
