Summary:

This job consists of serving customers by providing product and service information, and resolving product and service issues.



Responsibilities:

  • Answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services by using training materials and other tools;



  • Handling phone orders and opening customer accounts, using the Navision system;



  • Resolving product or service issues, by determining the cause of the problem, and explaining the best solution in solving the problem;



  • Maintaining a high knowledge of products, policies, procedures, and company standards;



  • Assisting consumers with order placements and return authorizations;



  • Maintaining customer records by updating account information



  • Handling other duties, as assigned by the department manager



  • Reports to the Senior Consumer Services Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional phone etiquette



  • Strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills



  • Ability to research, and think quickly to ensure expedient responses to customers



  • College degree preferred



  • Excellent communication skills



  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service



  • Able to work 2 nights/week and 2 Saturdays/month
