HR Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with the HR team as an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships: often providing candidates with their first impression of the company and our family oriented culture. The HR Coordinator will be an organizational guru, working effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possessing exceptional communication skills with the ability to shift gears at a moment s notice. Must enjoy the challenges of working in a small, growing company with a focus on building an organization of talented individuals.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates, hiring managers, vendors and outside agencies



    • In some cases arrange foreign and domestic travel for visiting candidates



  • Update candidate records in recruiting systems



  • Audits and I-9 verifications



  • New hire onboarding



  • Provide timely updates to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email



  • Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status as needed



  • Coordinate post-interview debrief meetings



  • Identify opportunities for improving the candidate experience and scheduling efficiency



  • Assist in coordinating other recruiting and HR activities as needed





QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-5 years experience in an administrative function creating and managing complex schedules



  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint



  • Ability to write business correspondence in a professional manor



  • Ability to effectively gather necessary information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, other employees



  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of personalities in a fast paced environment



  • Excellent administrative and clerical skills with a high tolerance for multi-tasking



  • Must possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills and have a keen attention to detail



  • Handle highly confidential information and thrive in a fast-paced environment



  • Superior customer service and strong communication skills (written and verbal)



  • Proficient with computers (Microsoft Word / Excel), and possess the ability to learn and operate scheduling and training software systems



  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks



  • Remain composed under pressure and excel in time management



  • Ability to utilize sound judgment when arranging schedules for candidates requiring transportation - flight, rail or car including hotel accommodations



  • Ability to compose correspondence to individuals at all levels of the organization.



  • Ability to solve problems proactively and as the arise as well as make decisions independently



Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
