SUMMARY
The position is responsible for managing and executing high-level project support related to new product launches and new business development opportunities. Responsible for partnering on the input and development of market planning, KOL development, sales planning and analytics, sales force training and launch preparedness, and launch meeting preparation. Ensures appropriate support in the pull through of launch initiatives and solutions by pro-actively and cooperatively working to coordinate input from key stakeholders within and outside of the department. Completes analysis and develops recommendations in support of launch initiatives.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • New Product planning and launches



  • New Business development opportunity assessments



  • Development and rollout of key marketing programs



  • Development of Promotional and Non-promotional Launch Materials



  • Market planning NSM Planning



  • Agency point person Convention Management



  • Develop strong relationships with National and Regional KOLs within Key Accounts to increase market share; partner with the field to establish strong relationships with advisory councils for each product area



  • KOL Management and Development



  • Lead preparation of sales force re training and work with sales management on key sales objectives for the new products



  • Work with business partners in sales, managed care, medical affairs, regulatory



  • Work with business partners on new business development opportunity assessments





QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS required. MBA or advanced degree preferred



  • At least 1-2 years of business development experience preferred



  • At least 3 -5 years of progressive marketing experience in the medical device, surgical or pharmaceutical industry



  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulation of FDA and PhRMA guidelines



  • Advanced acumen in new product marketing and new business development



  • Strong understanding of pharma and market dynamics



  • Strong understanding of data and analytics



  • Proven success with strategic and operational achievements



  • Strong project management experience within a team environment



  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders



  • Experience developing and creating formal presentations; advanced presentation skills, intermediate computer skills
