The Project Manager coordinates the planning and execution of multiple, simultaneous projects of varying complexity. Work closely with site and upper management to define scope and direction in order to achieve long term company objectives. Develop short-term and long-term capital budgets with site management to ensure production can adequately support business requirements.



  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Collaborate with site managers, site technicians, engineers, architects etc. To determine the specifications of the project

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Coordinate the bid management process including vender qualifications, request for proposals, price negotiations, and contract development

  • Perform risk assessments to minimize project risks and potential adverse effects on plant production

  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the execution of projects

  • Generate detailed project reports and schedules

  • Create 1 to 3 year capital investment plans

  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

  • Working knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD


  • Bachelors of Science, Engineering or related field required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus

  • 3-5 years experience working as a project administrator or project manager

  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Lotus Notes a plus

  • Strong decision-making abilities, leadership skills, and professionalism

  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions

  • Able and willing to travel up to 80%, with occasional international travel

  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking

  • Exceptional time-management skills with ability to prioritize

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Efficient, self-managing and responsible

  • Must maintain confidentiality when required
