Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement



  • Maintenance of the company quality systems including ISO 9001



  • Support the facilities Nadcap Accreditation



  • Advance in continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives



  • Initiate and implement quality improvement activities to raise the performance of the company s product lines



  • Establish collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality



  • Report on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement



  • Conduct audits as required



  • Manage staff according to company standard



  • Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality issues



  • Perform receiving/in process/final inspection as needed



Requirements

  • A bachelor s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience preferably in a manufacturing environment are required



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a working knowledge of quality management



  • A background in Plating and Anodizing is preferred
