SUMMARY

The main purpose of the role is to provide support and facilitation network on all queries related to automotive parts.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls regarding parts, parts availability, order status, part application, part investigation, and technical queries



  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, faxes and emails regarding returns and merchandise for retailers



  • Coordinate dealer orders (inputting, monitoring, modifying, canceling, or escalating priority status) as necessary



  • Provide ETA and availability information for backordered parts and/or parts in transit upon request, escalating to appropriate levels as needed



  • Research technical queries, escalating to appropriate levels as needed.



  • Work with different departments to inspect parts for manufacturing flaws, packing errors, or general information as warranted by the specific request. Issue and monitor Product Inspection Reports as required.



  • Maintain reports as required on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis



  • Respond to Returns Orders queries working with the Reverse Logistics Coordinators



  • Log all customer queries using current call logging system



  • Take part in initiatives, coaching sessions, and training with Customer Service Supervisor



  • Other duties as assigned





QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School Completion required / Associates or Bachelors preferred



  • Call Center / Customer Service experience required



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



  • Good telephone manner



  • Proven experience in understanding customer needs



  • Knowledge of automotive industry a plus



  • Computer literate (knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point)



  • SAP knowledge a plus
