SUMMARY:


Responsible for the preparation of weekly payroll which includes production related data entry and report preparation. Assists with the implementation of services, policies, and programs; reports to the Director of Human Resources.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of payroll processing essential. (ABRA) software and Microsoft Office



  • Be well versed in company policies and employment law; keep abreast of current laws and practices.



  • Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality in interpersonal interaction.



  • Contributes to the accomplishment of HR practices that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture.



  • Responsible for maintaining employee information and records accurately and timely.



  • Prepare and process new hire onboarding.



  • Process health insurance enrollments and changes. Manage monthly billings



  • Provides administrative support and assists in carrying out various human resource procedures and programs including but not limited to:



  • Employee orientation and recordkeeping. Create and maintain employee files.



  • Responding to basic payroll/benefits inquiries and other Human Resources related documentation. Maintain ABRA/HR database.



  • Managing and processing all HR related paperwork.



  • Maintain personnel records according to Federal and State legal requirements.



  • Responsible for accurate recordkeeping for vacation, personal and other leave.



  • Responsible for monthly billings, health insurance, uniforms, etc.



  • Assist with other projects or departments as required





QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a minimum Associates degree and a minimum of 5 years stable work experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.



  • Strong commitment to and interest in employee relations.



  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and multi-task.



  • Current knowledge of HR Federal and State Laws and compliance requirements from applicable regulatory agencies.



  • A combination of processing payroll and human resources experience.



  • Experience working in a flexible, employee environment.



  • Possess good written and oral skills and communicate effectively with people at all levels inside and outside the Company.



  • Be enthusiastic and motivated



  • Be an effective problem solver and make sound decisions



  • Set priorities and work independently with rigid time constraints.



  • Be accurate and pay close attention to detail.



  • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office



  • Be regular and prompt in attendance.



  • Be willing to work required hours to get the job done.
