This position processes and coordinates product orders via EDI transactions in a timely manner and ensuring timely delivery of product. This role will work with multiple team members to fulfill the EDI orders, resolve problems, and ensure customer satisfaction. In addition, this position will oversee stock intake, inventory control, develop and deliver best practices in supply chain solutions that provides balance between customer service and costs.


  • Implement and ensure daily procedures are in place to enhance the daily work between customer service the customer and the warehouse (S/O, P/O, EDI Orders, STO, Credit, Debit notes,).

  • Ensure that relevant IT, EDI tools are updated with master data and documentation e.G. Customer Service and contact database.

  • Manage and deliver supply chain projects (e.G. Route planning, synergies, reducing costs in the flow, third party logistics, and warehouse).

  • Ensuring the quality of products and services.

  • SAP Super User for Sales and Distribution (assisting in troubleshooting, training in SAP) and will serve as a team leader in the development and maintenance of relevant IT tools (SAP, EDI).

  • Provides guidance to others within supply chain department and will serve as a subject matter expert for SAP.

  • Identify and analyze opportunities to optimize supply chain with internal and external customers and competitors to minimize costs and improve service levels.

  • Develop future supply chain solutions for Warehouse, Transport and Distribution.

  • Ensuring coordination of supply chain activities between the various production areas for the purpose of ensuring deliveries.

  • Ensuring compliance with customer delivery agreements.

  • Monitoring procedures for the purpose of ensuring the quality with in planning.

  • Develop budgets and follow-up through performance reporting.

  • Handling current improvements in Logistics and planning.

  • Ad hoc support to functional area.

  • Participate in cross-functional and department projects.

  • Continuously informing and coordinating issues in relation to sales, demand, production and stock.

  • Suggesting solutions for improvements and resource optimization.

  • Support the planning functions as described by the Director of Imports & Logistics.


  • Minimum of Associates degree in operations management, supply chain, business, or equivalent discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain operations management including project management.

  • Experience as an SAP Super User.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years in planning role or within relevant functional area, e.G. Logistical planning, production planning, forecasting.

  • Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions.

  • Ability to provide product expertise and guidance in serving customers.

  • Must be detail-oriented with attention to accuracy.

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Strong computer skills, i.E. Microsoft Office Suites, Lotus Notes, and previous experience using a data tracking system such as SAP.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
