Co-ordinate, direct and control payroll preparation, processing and distribution as well as administer 401(k). Enhance the effectiveness of the Company HRIS. ADP workforce now, multi-state payroll
Co-ordinate activities of Payroll Administrator.
Manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements; ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.
Direct the preparation of payroll related documents; oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements; compile data from payroll sources.
Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
Monitor the accurate processing of employee appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.
Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations; maintain accurate account balances; review and improve payroll policies and procedures.
Oversee the maintenance of current employee data system; enhance data system to enable self-service and online services for managers and employees.
Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
Support all internal and external audits related to payroll.
Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.
Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required.
BA or equivalent experience
Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Knowledge of ADP Workforce; ability to write reports and analyze data
In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing
Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal rules and laws
Solid financial acumen
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
