The US Procurement Manager will be responsible for purchasing all materials and services in all US company sites. This position will also be responsible for conducting spend analysis, analyzing supply markets, identifying sourcing value levers, executing competitive RFis/RFPs and leading supplier negotiations at US country level closely with Group Sourcing and Group Procurement Manager. Manager Collaborate with and influence cross functional teams; understand, align and support business goals. Develop and implement agreements at country level and ensure that frame agreement developed by Sourcing Group are fully realized.

Main responsibilities:

  • Procurement and vendor management for all of US business.

  • Lead multiple local initiatives, following a standard strategic procurement methodology

  • Gather company s stakeholder requirements to ensure local and global solutions meet business needs

  • Identify US process opportunities to increase efficiencies.

  • Manage the planning and launch of RFIs and RFPs at local level.

  • Lead local supplier negotiations

  • Support and monitor the implementation of Sourcing Blanket Agreements.

  • Support the Sourcing Group Procurement to investigate goods & services categories and trends spend.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders, individual contributors and senior management, on selected spend categories.

  • Defines, understands and analyzes business needs for materials and services and supply market information.

  • Promotes appropriate local strategies that achieves critical business objectives and minimizes risk at local level.

  • Evaluate supplier qualifications, including financial, technical, and business fit.

  • Increases awareness and reliability of vendors, materials and services.

  • Demonstrates skill in planning and leading complex negotiations.

  • In collaboration with stakeholders and Group Procurement, develops negotiation framework based on prioritized business objectives.

  • Manages negotiations, sequence of events, roles, communication plan, escalation, and closure at local level.

  • Collaborate with company Legal Offices in order to develops, structures, and manages supplier contracts.

  • Establishes and measures supplier relationship criteria and performance.

Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree required and demonstrated experience within the pharmaceutical/ healthcare industry.

  • 7 - 10 years in Procurement or Sourcing experience

  • Strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute development strategy.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures, and disciplines.
    Ability to analyze complex issues and make decisions

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities.

  • Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in written form.

  • SAP knowledge a must.
