Responsible for order entry processing for our retail sales channel, utilizing EDI software to manage modifications, and release offers. Monitor customer orders, backorders and shipping windows. Professional interaction, by phone and written correspondence, with Sales Account Managers, their retail buyers and customer contacts.
Responsible for retail order entry processing, modification, verification and release using EDI and SAP.
Handles product and account set-up on customer accounts.
Monitors customer orders, backorders, and shipping windows.
Updates GXS catalog and InterTrade
Follows up on purchase order extensions, status, current and future product availability, as well as expediting shipping.
Responds to sales representative/ account managers requests for order/product status, assistance, and related information.
Interaction with the Distribution Center regarding product shipment priorities.
Resolves customer issues.
Responsible for order and product availability reports.
Tracks and assigns return authorizations.
Assists with mass account maintenance updates.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of customer service experience.
Retail experience preferred
Communicate effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
Microsoft Office / computer literate.
SAP experience preferred.
EDI experience required.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
