Day-to-day support regarding human resources, payroll, and organizational issues
Manages and provides support for the company s weekly and biweekly payrolls, maintaining the payroll database and HRIS system; input EE data, salary adjustments, bonus/commission payouts, unpaid leaves, etc.
Knowledge of multi-state payroll requirements and familiarity with state and local taxing requirements; prior experience working in an environment handling multi-jurisdictional taxes preferred.
Responsible for all payroll reporting in partnership with the Finance department, as well as attendance and reporting.
Assist in the 401k Audit process, workers' compensation, HIPPA, ADA, COBRA and other programs.
Lead on design and development of payroll modules to improve user and administration support.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues
Minimum 5 years of professional HR experience in multiple HR disciplines with emphasis on compensation, employment law and coaching
Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources or related field
Must be well versed in benefits plans, employment law and regulations including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO/AAP, Workers Compensation, unemployment and labor relations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of labor laws
