SUMMARY

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Leader to join the growing compliance center of excellence. The company provides its global customer base with a best in class technology platform backed by a robust services offering, to enable effective HCP engagements while ensuring adherence to the growing list of global regulatory, legislative and corporate requirements.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for attainment of a group sales target for assigned Business Unit.



  • Quarterbacks the contract negotiation process and ensures timely closure to signed contract.



  • Focuses exclusively on new business acquisition and revenue development.



  • Drives the development of national and international sales strategies.



  • Obtains competitive intelligence to drive company strategy.



  • Maintains key customer relationships and develops and implements strategies for expanding the company s customer base.



  • Manages the entire Sales Cycle including, lead and demand generation campaigns, developing Opportunity Plans, Win Strategies and overseeing the RFP/Proposal process.



  • Manages overall sales process, sets appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.



  • Develops pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and channel partners.



  • Prepares customized proposals and price quotes in response to inquiries and to address the needs of the prospect.



  • Attains a thorough understanding of the company's technology, services, solutions and capabilities and how they differentiate from competitors.



  • Works closely with internal groups in support of business development activities.



  • Participates in industry and professional conferences and other promotional and marketing programs sponsored by the company in order to develop leads and market intelligence.



  • Oversees the hiring and development of a sales organization.



  • Establishes compensation, training and sales incentive programs.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.



  • Must be hands on; willing to write proposals and RFP s, and create/maintain sales plans.



  • Team management experience with a willingness and preference to "roll up sleeves" and work alongside the team.



  • At least 10 years experience selling to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/Medical Device industry, preferably to Commercial Operations (Brand Teams, Sales Operations), IT, Compliance and Procurement groups and with 5 -7 years in a software delivery or software sales role.



  • Proven evangelical sales track record in a new product/new market environment.



  • Microsoft suite, experience in working with salesforce.Com CRM tool.



  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required (Computing / Engineering / MIS / Information Science); MBA preferred



  • Successful track record in growing accounts and consistently maintaining positive client relationships.



  • Willingness to have a different opinion, ability to articulate thoughts and concepts well.



  • Management consulting/systems integration experience a plus
